Taking a Holistic approach….

Long before I owned my own salon I was asked, “what kind of business do you want to own??”
And the answer has never changed!
I want to work in a space where I’m surrounded by like-minded, creative, hard-working individuals that will inspire me to be the best version of myself. So when my good friend Kelly told me she was having a huge lifestyle change and needed a space for a couple of hours a week, I knew I had to make room at the Brentwood hairdresser…

Hi, I’m Kelly Craddock, founder of The Holistic Space.
The Brentwood Hairdresser is my evening hub, where you can enjoy traditional reflexology treatments in the private space upstairs – is there anywhere else in town that has such a cool, yet relaxing vibe?!
Reflexology is a gentle form of natural healing, applying massage to reflex areas found in the feet or hands (facial and ear reflexology is also offered by some therapists). It is a holistic therapy and therefore treats the body as a whole.
It has been a part of my life for some time now, having trained and qualified at The Bayly School in London (the official teaching body of the British Reflexology Association of which I am a fully insured member) 18 years ago. At the time, I worked in the advertising industry in central London (and continued to do so until 2018), but have always had a strong interest in health and wellbeing. After receiving a course of reflexology treatments for IBS, I decided to train as a reflexologist as I was so impressed by my positive reaction to the treatment, not just a reduction in IBS symptoms but feeling an overall sense of calmness.
Once qualified, I worked as a mobile reflexologist alongside my office job, although this took a back seat once my two kids arrived! In 2018 I decided to quit London office life altogether and in 2019 The Holistic Space was born!
I feel very lucky to be a part of TBH’s family – huge thanks to Rob Jon for being the local business champion that he is, believing in my new venture and for supporting The Holistic Space!
